First he is knowledgeable of industry, the product and service he is offering how it fits the needs of the customer and why it makes sense. One of the elements I appreciated most was his directness. He did not sugarcoat any part of our dialogue. He delivered his point, clearly. When a customer deals with a new area, as this was to me, it is helpful to be educated before you receive the pitch. My very limited exposure to distribution service was expanded thanks to Steve. His persistence will win him praise from his employer, if he is not the owner.
