Patrick Clouden
CEO

Patrick founded CES nearly ten years ago and uses his extensive sales and business experience to guide the company. Before CES, he was partner and co-founder of Least Cost Routing, Inc., which was sold to Primus Telecommunications, a publicly traded company.

Jim Mathers
President

Jim graduated the US Naval Academy in 1983 and is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Maryland. He built and drove nuclear submarines in the U.S. Navy for 10 years. Jim co-founded the company 10 years ago.

Our Senior Market Analyst:

Ray Franklin

As Senior Energy Analyst, Ray utilizes his 21 years of trading experience to advise on market strategies and pricing opportunities.

After receiving his MBA from Cornell University in 1976, Ray managed two academic departments at Cornell prior to becoming an active commodity trader with EF Hutton in 1986 along with several other firms through 2001. In 2001, Ray became a Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA), and has been working as Senior Energy Analyst with Consumer Energy Solutions since 2005.
